Management & Leadership of Process Reengineering Teams
Assemble, mobilize, and lead work teams for selected Lean initiatives.
As appropriate, challenge the business' assumptions/beliefs in a professional manner as the team works to transform processes and eliminate wasteful, non-value adding steps.
Apply Lean principles, steps, & tools in the various activities - current state analysis, base line performance, value stream maps, end state, etc.
Lead process redesign efforts.
Support stage gate reviews, implementation activities and track benefits.
Assess and coordinate quality repurposing appropriate for new process.
Develop and Promote Lean Knowledge/Application
Act as a change agent and coach the Operations leadership to instill Lean culture throughout the organization.
Conduct or coordinate awareness training with the operational teams.
Reengineering Opportunity Analysis
Working closely with the business leaders, identify, assess, and prioritize future process reengineering opportunities.
Maintain a current prioritized list of future opportunities.
Proven track record of driving cross-functional strategic initiatives and leading process improvement activities to closure.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Strong analytical skills leading to decisions based on data and facts.
Experience with business process mapping.
Bachelor degree - business or technical focus or MBA preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma certification is required.
Ability to communicate information of a complex nature to mid-level management (both written and verbal) in easy to understand business language.
Ability to handle multiple projects and adjust work accordingly to meet delivery timelines commensurate with degree of financial risk and impacts involved. American International Group, Inc.
