Role Summary/Purpose Manages all material aspects for manufacturing operations transferring from one GEHC location to another, or from a supplier to a GEHC location. Works with Transfer Project Leaders, Production Leaders, Buyers, Planners, Order Fulfillment, etc. to ensure the transfer occurs according to established timeline and without fulfillment interruptions.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop the inventory strategy to meet all production and transfer plans, including quantities and delivery schedule
Monitor the inventory strategy and lead the team to make the right decisions over the course of the project to ensure the inventory strategy is met.
Communicate material delivery risks- manage risk and resolve shortages with sourcing
Lead the future production site's material team to set up all parts in their systems and receive all parts (including FAI) for validation runs by the deadlines needed
Determine material levels needed to meet production ramp up/down at each facility and ensure each plant has the right materials to meet their production plans
Work with GEHC plants and suppliers to transfer materials and open POs to meet production ramp at the new facility and inventory ramp down at the original facility
Develop plan with sites, sourcing, service, etc. to remove all materials from the original plant after project is complete to include plans for obsolete materials
Partner with Fulfillment organizations and production sites to determine which customer orders will be filled by each plant during the Phase-In-Phase-Out
Manage/support Materials projects throughout the plant
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree and 2 years supply chain experience or HS diploma and 6 years supply chain experience
Proven ability to drive change initiatives in a matrix environment
Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change

Experience with Oracle, demand planning tools, supplier managed inventory, etc.
Team leadership experience
Experience with GEHC eNPI or Transfer of Work (TOW) process/milestones
Certified Black Belt Oracle knowledge and experience
Lean Manufacturing experience
OMLP Graduate
Lean Manufacturing AWO Leadership experience
MBA or Masters DegreeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
