General Manager/Tech Center Decatur, AL
As our client's General Manager,you will draw upon your strong leadership abilities as you manage, develop and train the Technical Center staff in order to champion the most efficient research and development toward the ultimate goal of accelerating product, application and market development, and patent filing. You will also forge improvements in the Technical Center's capabilities in terms of hardware, software and staff development, with the ongoing objective of developing new carbon fiber, application, and market opportunities. To qualify, you must hold, at minimum, a Master's degree (a Ph.D is preferred) and have 10 to 15 years' experience in a leadership role within a technical discipline, specifically, with carbon fibers and, preferably, within a Japanese culture. You should possess exceptional technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to succeed in this role. A willingness to engage in customer contact is also required.
