1. Provides professional legal advice, counsel and guidance, as a practicing attorney at law, to ensure that the Company, its assets and its activities are legally safeguarded, are operating in conformity with all applicable laws and regulations and do not unduly expose the Company to litigation, penalties or claims.
2. Plans and develops solutions to existing or potential legal issues involving the Company, and advises management concerning its legal rights and obligations.
3. Drafts and reviews documentation for commercial transactions to ensure that business objectives are met and the Company's and that potential risks are understood.
4. Develops form contracts and related legal documents and approves the form of significant contractual arrangements entered into by the Company.
5. Develops and implements programs, conducts presentations, publishes information and participates in other activities to educate Company officers and employees as to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures and legal compliance requirements.
6. Participates in continuing legal education programs and other activities as necessary to remain informed of the Company's business as well as developments in the law, new and proposed statutes and regulations, economic and social issues and other matters of interest to the Company and the energy industry.
Candidates must possess a J.D., be licensed to practice law in the United States and either admitted to practice in Ohio or eligible for corporate counsel practice in Ohio, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and on-line research.
Prefer candidates with 3 to 5 years of legal experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
