Maintenance Supervisor Job - (macon, georgia)
Key Responsibilities of the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor:

Managing and improving equipment performance, reliability, and uptime.
:
Supervise and direct unionized maintenance staff.
:
Plan and coordinate plant shut downs and major maintenance projects.
:
Ensuring a safe work environment and promoting an environment of continuous improvement.
:
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, establish and assign appropriate PM tasks to improve equipment uptime.
:
Staffing responsibilities include corrective disciplinary actions as well as hiring of new employees.
:
Participating in capital improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
:
Analyzing equipment and maintenance data, using tools such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, etc.
Required Qualifications for the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor:
:
Technical degree or previous industrial maintenance supervisory experience desired.
:
Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance and optimization experience in a manufacturing environment.
:
Proven record of developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance and reliability programs and systems.
:
Experience with continuous improvement processes and best practices.
:
Experience with pumps, rotating equipment, piping and conveyors.
:
Experience with equipment maintenance techniques, such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Techniques.
:
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAP, is a benefit.
Desired Qualifications for the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
:
Experience in ceiling, paper, plastics, or similar manufacturing industry.
