Minimum 5 years experience preferred
The Senior Decision Support Analyst will acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data and report results to support accountable care initiatives, primary care transformation, financial, clinical, and operational goals. S/he will be responsible for end-to-end report development, including interaction with end users to gather requirements and understand report objectives, and will provide data management and analytic support. S/he will play a critical role in supporting physician practices by developing, delivering, and interpreting practice and provider-level reports.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Master's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, Statistics, Business information or related field preferred
5 years or more experience healthcare business administration with 3 of the 5 years in statistical data collection, analysis, benchmarking and reporting preferred
Must have a comprehensive understanding of all computer applications used within the Decision Support Department
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and manipulate spreadsheets and graphs through the use of Excel, Access, and Crystal Reports
Demonstrated ability in data extraction, complex analysis, and reporting
Knowledge of clinical, operations, and process improvement methodologies
Must have excellent analytical, healthcare statistics, benchmarking, and database management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priority projects simultaneously
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadline, high volumes
Ability to work effectively with various levels of management
