Job Description:
The Manager of ERM is responsible for the effective planning, implementation, coordination and execution of risk management plans and processes related to assigned risk segment(s). The Manager of ERM is responsible to management for execution of those plans and processes and for associated reporting and process enhancements. The Manager of ERM has a high degree of knowledge about Alegeus's business operations as they pertain to assigned risk segment(s), and confidently applies independent judgment and decision making skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Typically no direct reports, but will be required to manage complex and/or cross-functional risk segments and processes, and effectively train other Alegeus employees as required. In some cases, the Manager of ERM may be designated with more specific or descriptive functional titles and/or officer appointments where this is required or appropriate for the performance of required job activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop and maintain strong expertise with regard to standards, requirements, best practices, and industry trends pertaining to assigned risk segment(s)
Create, maintain, and regularly update risk segment overview document(s) and ensure consistency with the overall goals/objectives that drive corporate risk segment activities
Develop and continuously improve written policies and/or procedures governing assigned risk segment(s)
Create and execute training and communication plans for risk segment backup staff to maintain continuity during staff absences, operational flexibility, and to reduce key person risk over time related to risk segment activities
Perform and/or manage the daily operations of assigned risk segment(s) including assigning, directing, and reviewing assigned risk segment related work performed by contributing parties
Effectively prioritize risk segment work to maintain progress against goals/objectives
Develop and maintain risk segment mitigation activities, monitoring activities and metrics
Provide regular reports on the status and progress of assigned risk segment activities and metrics to department staff and company management
Develop and maintain excellent personal relationships with risk segment participants and stakeholders and advise management regarding their execution of risk segment responsibilities
Improve and enhance risk segment approach and activities through objective assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of risk segment results.
Provide backup support/coverage to other risk segments as assigned.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, PREVIOUS
Experience:
At least 6 years relevant experience

LEVEL OF EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
