The Clinical Program Coordinator provides oversight and coordination for the unit. The primary focus is supervising daily patient care and ensuring that the care meets quality standards in a cost effective manner. In addition, this person provides performance improvement, statistical data collection, patient and community education and management of organizational change for the program and related patient care areas. The Clinical Program Coordinator collaborates with the direct supervisor (Clinical Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, etc) on related goal setting and planning.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience required. BSN preferred.
Licensure / Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association is required. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) _preferred_.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience, including direct experience in Medical Oncology required. Demonstrated program coordination skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide patient and community education. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively in a teamwork based environment with coworkers, patients, families and health professionals.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
