Inovant, LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Network Support Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex second-level network related problems, coordinate resources where necessary, and serve as escalation point to first level operational teams. Respond to and resolve IP network issues within timeframe of severity level agreements. Deploy client solutions and network design implementations. Support all aspects network management process assuring requests, implementation, and problems are delivered as required with no impact to global communications environment. Take initiative to proactively discover potential network impacts. Participate in, or may lead, problem resolution and cause analysis. Deploy and document changes in accordance with problem and change management process. Participate in projects introduced by engineering team, assuring full implementation and documentation standards are adhered to. Complete projects objectives within timelines. Communicate to customers, resolution and root cause resulting from outage or service interruption. Perform most effective approach to restore, recover, or alter configurations, logical or physical, to maintain service integrity. Utilizes graduate level research and analysis skills.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications or related technical field and two years of work experience in job offered or two years of work experience in a computer network administration-related occupation. Education or experience must include:
1. Experience and Background in Routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, and HSRP;
2. Experience with Network protocols, TCP/IP, IPV4, IPV6, LAN, and WAN;
3. Experience with Cisco IOS, Routers and switches, 7200, 3800, 6500, 2600, 3550, 3750 stacks, 2800 series, Cisco Nexus OS , Nexus 5k, 7k;
4. Experience with Juniper Switches and Routers;
5. Experience with Cisco ASAs, TACACS, RADIUS, VPN Concentrators;
6. Experience with F5 Load balancers;
7. Experience with Riverbed steelheads;
8. Experience with Cisco Wireless controllers and Access points;
9. Performance testing and troubleshooting tools, Chariot, Splunk, Wireshark, and Netscout; and,
10. Basic Network Administration, Analytical, methodical, and resourceful approach to problem solving, identifying root causes and corrective actions to meet short and long-term business and system requirement.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
