Our client, located in Mishawaka, is looking for a Payroll Clerk that has 2
years of multi-state payroll experience
Responsibilities:

Interact with our client restaurant managers and team members to resolve payroll issues
Receive a review payroll action forms through their automated and annual systems to ensure compliance with the company policies.
Enters records into the payroll system
Maintain team members voluntary deduction files; validates and reviews accuracy of the system database
Maintain and update employee personnel files, payroll action forms, and payroll time and attendance files
Process stop payments; create manual checks when necessary; inputs manual checks and voids checks to payroll system
Process garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, etc.; enter information into the payroll system; process for payment; maintain payroll files; respond to correspondence
Administer payroll tax balancing, wage verifications.

Communication Skills:

Must have exceptional verbal, written communication, grammar and punctuation skills
Effective listening skills is essential
Ability to interact with any array of personnel inside and outside of the company

Reasoning and Problem Solving Skills:

Must have effective time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines with minimal supervision or direction is required
Attention to accuracy and details is critical
Flexibility when shifting responsibilities
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
