Description:
The Project Manager is accountable to the Project Owner and Steering Committee (key stakeholders) for all matters related to delivering the expected outcomes and value for each assigned project. The role will apply knowledge and competencies associated with each of the 5 key Project Management processes: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing. The Project Manager will have a flexible mindset, strong influencing and people skills, drive, and the ability to deal with change and complexity in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities may include:
Define Project scope, goals and deliverables that support customer requirements; negotiate and obtain approval of deliverables, plan, budget and schedule with key stakeholders and budget holder.
Partner with Planners, Change Management, Service Leads, Business Partners, Solution Design , Security, Audit, Procurement, Financial and Planning and Analysis and other integration partners to fully develop requirements and business case to meet customer needs.
Ensure all stages of the project are completed and meet the steering committee expectations.
Apply standard project management principles and competencies to develop project plans and assignment of work plans to achieve deliverables.
Proactively lead, direct and drive day-to-day management of the project resources to achieve project objectives, and deliverables in line with project plan budget and schedule.
Provide leadership and tactical planning for execution of projects and apply technical and/or functional expertise and knowledge to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
Negotiate resources with Portfolio Managers, Business Partners, Service Leads and line managers; and contracting needs with Procurement in line with schedule, scope and budget.
Proactively manage changes in scope and obtain approvals for any Change Requests.
Proactively track and manage issues and devise contingency plans as needed.
Report project progress to stakeholders and track all project milestones/deliverables.
Manages cost, and cost control activities, reporting of expenditures, forecasting against budget, variance analysis and remediation plans.
Risk Management, mitigation plans, corrective actions and acceptance criteria.
Ensure Quality metrics are tracked and met.
Ensure organizational readiness prior to going live.
Ensures all business, IT and security standards are met.
Manage all project communications in collaboration with Organization Change Management.
Responsible for project completion and documentation of key lessons learned.
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related Information Technology Field.

years of project management experience (Planning; Organizing, Estimating; Directing; Tracking; Controlling; Analyzing; Forecasting; Issues and Risk Management, Managing Stakeholder expectations).
Preferred:
Previous project management experience with both vended and in-house developed customer applications.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Agile project management experience (e.g. PMI Agile Certification).
Technical application knowledge and experience. Able to provide guidance to IT solutions analyst and technical architects.
Sound knowledge of cost control, cost management, forecasting and variance analysis.
Ability to successfully plan, organize, lead, prioritize and drive term efforts to completion.
Proven ability to deliver commitments on schedule and within budget and meeting quality acceptance criteria.
Demonstrated ability to work through complex issues and problems to reach alignment.
Ability to manage and mitigate risks, develop and negotiate agreement on corrective action.
Strong influencing skills. Uses influence positively and skilfully to initiate action, impact decisions, obtain resources/ approvals. Seeks win-win agreements.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills for interacting with managers and staff levels.
Excellent oral and written and presentation skills.
Contractor resource management experience including managing off-shore resourcing.
Vendor contract management experience. Understanding of procurement processes including Statements of Work, contract terms, service level agreements
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
