Role Description :
Ciber has an immediate opportunity for an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Architect in Minnesota. This position is responsible for the development and the maintenance of IT Integration architecture, integration standard models, SOA portfolio and governance. The position provides consultation for broad areas of integration architecture and technologies to projects efforts within various IT areas or external service providers. On-going publication of knowledge from the external industry trends and based practices is also a major role of this position.
Define, analyze, and review architecture and technical requirements.
Involve and recommend enterprise's server hardware, operating system for the Enterprise Application Integration space.
Participates in the drafting of Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Lead a team of developers and mentor junior team members.
Involve in enterprise application integration (EAI). This includes defining the opportunities for integration, selecting the tools, specifying the shared data and code resources, defining the interfaces and data-flows, and monitoring the success of said integration.
Responsible for defining the application tiers, frameworks, components types and interfaces. Also, creates the first-draft graphical template of UML design models used by the Project Architects.
Specifies and provides ownership of reusable application components or reusable application code.
Provide framework, stewardship, governance, and decision making for the management of EAI for project development teams, business users and other stake-holders.
Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision; participate in the road map to achieve the vision.
Develop standards, process flows and tools that promote and facilitate the mapping of data sources, documenting interfaces and data movement across the enterprise.
Provide architectural solutions covering data structures, sourcing, integration, security, and retention
Define governance and best practices around meta-data to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, reusability, and consistent definitions for common reference data.
Elicit requirements and translate the requirements into models by building conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Involve in data roadmap, current / target state for enterprise data.

Qualifications
12 years minimum experience in software development with emphasis on applications development with a majority of this experience in integration, and architecture
Must have strong expertise in design and implementation of SOA based integrations.
At least 5 years of experience with web services, ESB, SOA, distributed applications and interoperability
Must have experience producing UML, design patterns and contextual/conceptual/physical architecture documentations.
Must have 5
years development experience using TIBCO middle ware integration tool.

years of leadership role in development and support of customer facing applications.
Strong foundation in Core Java and Object Oriented Programming and Design Concepts
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Must have experience with documenting business processes and integration models.
Clear understanding of Web services approach including Web service protocols such as SOAP and REST.
Candidate must have a strong development background with emphasis on SOA, distributed and event-driven computing.
Experience delivering at least two SOA Enterprise-level Projects including at least one involving legacy systems with iterative development life cycle and methodology.
Experience with one or more Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), Zachman or TOGAF Frameworks.
Familiarity with High-level languages such as BPEL and specifications such as WS-CDL and WS-Coordination, WS-Security, WS-Trust and etc.
Strong knowledge in middleware of the Enterprise Service Bus approach, including TIBCO ESB and JBoss Enterprise SOA.
Experience with pub/sub messaging systems and network protocols.
Extensive hands-on experience with message-oriented middleware,Tibco, Java, and other relevant technologies (i.e., XML, XPath, HTTP, JMS, IBM Websphere MQ, EMS and RV).
Solid working knowledge of Windows and UNIX.
Strong working knowledge of VMWare or other virtual operating system.

Health care industry experience preferred
BS in Computer Science or related field. MS a plus
