Exercising a high degree of independent judgment, the Senior Program Manager will provide direction, programmatic development, and coordination over the Mental Health Performance Management Unit.
The incumbent will organize, direct, and lead personnel and work processes of the quality improvement program, medical records, training, development of educational tools for both outpatient and inpatient programs.
Qualified candidates for this position will have extensive knowledge and experience in program administration and service delivery of mental health programs.
The current vacancy requires a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Psychiatrist in the State of California.
However, future vacancies for this position my not require specific licensure.
Desirable education and experience will include the equivalent to possession of a Master's degree in Social Services, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychology or other appropriate field and five years of experience working with mental health programs and services, including supervisory and/or administrative experience.
