A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Project Manager with Medicaid experience to join our team in Frankfort, KY .
We are currently seeking experienced candidates for the position of Project Manager (Senior) for our upcoming, state-wide Healthcare project
Primary Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Responsible for all coordination, planning and organization of the development and implementation activities for a state-wide Health Care project.
Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, and project staff
Perform analysis and negotiation of project scope, budget and schedule and perform management of the project.
Assist with planning of resources for the project.
Proactively manage and track project risks, issues, budget and schedule.
Ensure business sponsors and management advised of project status.
Ensure that applicable system design life cycle (SDLC) processes are followed.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, and Visio)
Demonstrated ability to lead small to large size project teams
Prior IT experience in the healthcare domain
Prior experience managing issues, scope, quality, escalations and risks
Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, collaborating across business and IT teams.
Proficient with standard project management tools and methodologies
Must be experienced in management for large scale Information Technologyprojects.
Possess strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to lead meetings, lead project teams and communicate effectively at all levels within the project
Must be self-motivated and able to exercise sound decision making skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of healthcare claims and payments
Prior experience in managing large scale, enterprise wide projects utilizing Microsoft based technologies
Prior Medicaid experience
Prior experience managing IT Healthcare projects
Prior process improvement experience
PMP Certification
Requirements:
4
years'' experience in managing large scale complex projects utilizing Microsoft based technologies.
Experienced in management of vendors and contracts for large scale InformationTechnology projects.
Experience working with Project Management Office (PMO).
Experience working in a Medicaid/Enviroment is desirable
Project Management PMP certification is preferred; however adequate PM history will be considered.
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
