We have an outstanding opportunity for a Divisional Safety Manager for the North Division of Beacon responsible for over 50 locations primarily throughout New England and Pennsylvania. This position will be based in the Boston metro area.
We are looking for hands on, committed individual who will be responsible for managing the safety functions for our branches. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safety policies and procedures are enforced, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local OSHA regulations, conducting training, ensuring DOT compliance, ensuring work related injury procedures are followed and conducting audits and inspections with the goal of eliminating work related injuries and reducing workers compensation costs. This position requires travel throughout the region.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience as a Safety Manager in a construction, distribution, manufacturing or retail environment supporting multi locations, knowledge of federal, state and local safety, DOT and OSHA regulations, skill in establishing effective working relationships and the ability to travel. A degree or related experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. 50% travel will be necessary in this role.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
