We're looking for an experienced engineer to focus on application and operational, scalability and performance. This is a great opportunity to become part of a fun, talented, passionate DevOps team that will test, measure, profile, analyze, and improve upon our existing applications and infrastructure. As a member of this team, you'll play a key role bringing a best of breed video experience to market at enormous scale.
We're looking for somebody with:
Passion for performance, high availability, and scalability
Experience with highly scaled, distributed environments (concurrent load, high I/O, etc.)
Experience with operational monitoring tools and services (Boundary, New Relic, Icinga, Nagios, etc.)
Strong belief in tools, measurement, analysis, and evidence based recommendations
Strong experience with Linux system administration (CentOS preferred)
Familiarity with system management tools (Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
Robust coding/scripting skills (Python, Bash, PHP, Ruby, etc.)
High standards and pride in consistent release qualification
Strong communications skills, able to collaborate and work independently
CS degree preferred, but not required with demonstrated equivalent experience
