Our Client, a large financial services firm has opportunities available for AML Analyst roles. These roles are possible temp-perm opportunities paying $20-$25 an hour. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in Compliance!!!!
The AML analyst role will
- Perform intake controls to ensure all alerts are logged and assigned in a timely manner
- Collect and document data, including alert, investigation, or SAR history; KYC information; relevant account and transaction data, plus any other required information to assist the investigation
- Review and analyze underlying data gathered to assess reasonable cause to advance an alert to Investigations or to clear
- Fully document all alerts, including supporting data, analysis and rationale within the case management system in a timely manner
- Complete analysis of transactional information regarding alerts and assess reasonable cause to advance the alerts to investigations or to clear.
- Build relationships with AML Investigations units, and effectively communicate and transfer information for case investigations
- Conduct periodic internal account/customer reviews to identify potentially suspicious activity
Working hours: M-F 9-5 with over time
MUST have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Economics or a JD.
Must be detailed oriented
Good computer and communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
