Job Duties: Work closely with Development organization to drive quality improvements in the service layer in support of the Compass application. Support qualifying PayPal Call Center applications prior to pilot and worldwide deployment. Enable technology to the customer service organization through providing tools and infrastructure to the customer agents so that PayPal can deliver on quality customer experience.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a programmer analyst, software engineer, or Graduate Research Assistant (in the field of Engineering or Computer Science) or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a programmer analyst, software engineer, or Graduate Research Assistant (in the field of Engineering or Computer Science).
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include the following: Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming principles; programming skills in one of the following programming languages: Java, C/C++, C#; experience developing test automation systems; experience with the J2EE application server software platform; experience with web application technologies: JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML; system administration skills (Linux, Windows); experience creating test plans, test cases and track resolution of software defects; experience with source-code control systems; Perl or Python Programming; SQL Programming; identify and create regression test cases. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
