Position Purpose
With appropriate volunteer support, this position is accountable for administrative and clerical support, coordinating and implementing cost-effective fundraising activities. This position acts as liaison between MOD, its volunteers, and the local community in which it serves by recruiting volunteer participation, corporate/school participation, and sponsorship within the community.
Position Responsibilities
oManages day to day clerical duties including telephone, mail preparation and delivery, data entry and typing.
oProcesses division expenses and receipts.
oOrders/purchases office supplies and maintains inventory. Maintains office equipment.
oMaintains event and volunteer databases as needed, including CRM.
oProvides event fundraising and meeting support.
oWith support from volunteers, coordinate all event logistics and event materials to ensure success of events.
oDevelop and maintain working relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote MOD message, build support for MOD mission, and maintain volunteer involvement in MOD activities and programs.
o Manage and provide leadership to volunteer committees on each event in assigned area to ensure that committee members are fully supported and accomplish tasks required for successful event.
oRecruit, orientate, train, and monitor performance of volunteers to organize events that meet or exceed fundraising goals.
oOther duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications Required
oBachelor s degree or equivalent experience
oExcellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
oOrganized and self-motivated
oComputer skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
o Ability to use a printer, copier, telephone and fax machine.
o Ability to lift, bend, and/or carry items/boxes.
o Must successfully complete a credit and criminal background check.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
