Our client, a leading boat builder based in the Goshen, Indiana area, is currently seeking two (2) Design Engineers: One to support FIBERGLASS & the second to support the WELDED ALUMINUM brand. These individuals will be responsible for improving upon the performance & design of existing products, overseeing production of final product, as well as researching & developing ideas / processes for new products.
Accountabilities:
Design, model, & test prototypes; Perform floatation tests on applicable models & new model certification for Europe CE
Assure that products adhere to standards set forth by NMMA USCG, along with American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC).
Conduct new product development meetings: Provide technical assistance to internal departments during product launch, as well as work with suppliers to develop & improve product
Participate in development of sales materials, standards & options chart, & BOMs; Assists in training production personnel
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience & background developing boats / related products.
Experience in either fiberglass &/or welded & riveted aluminum boats helpful
Good working knowledge of design & mechanical capabilities of common boat building materials.
NMMA Compliance Specialist helpful.
Skilled with computer tools (MSOffice suite); Proficient in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, CATIA, UG, etc.)
Able to lift up to 25 pounds, climb ladders as necessary to access boat interiors, & have ability/willingness to wear OSHA PPE as required
Our client is offering compensation in the 65-70K
range, & relocation assistance is offered.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
