Skills required:

Thorough understanding and experience with application of project-management knowledge.
Experience with any of the following tools is desirable: MS Project Server, @Task, CA Clarity, Mercury Governance Suite, PowerSteering, Primavera, ProSight.
3-5 years of experience
Responsibilities:
Ensures that processes are in place to drive and track tradeoff conversations related to the time, cost, and scope internal to and across projects to maximize overall business client satisfaction.
Manages staff and contract project managers in a direct or dotted-line capacity.
Formulates negotiating strategies with outside contractors, in alignment with sourcing policies. Develops and monitors processes to ensure appropriate planning, risk-management, and execution relative to project costs and benefits.
Troubleshoots strategic at-risk projects Delegates day-to-day project management activities to project managers.
Applies hands-on expertise for high-risk or off-track projects.
Ensures the development of consistent, concise, periodic project-status reports for management and others affect by the projects.
