We are now recruiting a Delivery Driver for this location. The Delivery Driver is responsible to transport and deliver NAPA parts/products to our valued customers in a timely fashion and in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner. In addition to delivering parts/products to customers within an assigned delivery area, the Delivery Driver is also required to assist with receiving, checking, and stocking incoming shipments to the store. The Delivery Driver is also responsible to clean and provide routing maintenance of the delivery vehicle and the store/facility.
The ideal Delivery Driver candidate for this position will have a valid and unrestricted driver''s license, be physically able to perform all associated duties, will not have had a DUI/DWI conviction within the past three years and will not have had three moving violations or two at-fault accidents during that same period. In addition, he/she will act in the capacity of a ''QCMP Ambassador'' to our customers, and as such, will maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
General Position Responsibilities
-- Check invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer.
-- Account for cash on COD (Collect on Delivery) orders and maintain an accurate and detailed delivery log.
-- Assist with checking in store orders and stocking products on the shelves.
-- Cleaning and routine maintenance functions for the delivery vehicle and the store.
-- Adhere to all safety rules, including the handling of hazardous materials.
-- Answer telephone on occasion.
-- Able to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service.
-- Have a well-groomed and neat appearance.
-- Enjoy working with people in a fast-paced setting; be competitive yet has the ability to work calmly under pressure.
-- Occasionally operate heavy machinery as needed.
-- Other duties as assigned.
Deliver Parts
-- Be sure correct parts are delivered to the right place.
-- Handle cash/charge transactions correctly.
-- Handle core/part returns appropriately.
-- Maintain a delivery log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
-- Ensure the security of company assets, vehicles, merchandise, building/property and personnel.
-- Provide pickup service for machine shop when instructed.
Maintain Customer Satisfaction
-- Provide timely deliveries.
-- Know where to park and who to contact at customer's location.
-- Utilize effective communication skills.
-- Report any problems immediately to store management.
-- Apologize to customer if there is a problem.
-- Ask about any other needs and thank the customer for using NAPA.
Maintain Professional Attitude, Conduct and Appearance
-- Demonstrate a pleasant, helpful personality.
-- Adhere to QCMP company policies.
-- Follow NAPA appearance and dress standards.
-- Take initiative to assist others with store duties.
Maintain Store Delivery Vehicle
-- Keep trucks clean, inside and out.
-- Inspect truck signage, decals and NAPA cap and report any repair or replacements needed.
-- Ensure that vehicle is properly licensed and that operating instructions, proof of insurance and maintenance records are stored inside the vehicle.
-- Properly document maintenance records and report any vehicle requirements to management.
-- Periodically check fluid levels, tire pressure, electrical devices and mechanical components.
-- Report vehicle requirements, accidents and violations to management immediately.
Provide Support Functions
-- Assist in store maintenance and cleanliness.
-- Keep parking areas clean and picked up.
-- Help maintain building and property.
-- Assist with the checking in of stock orders.
-- Report all overages/shortages/damaged merchandise.
-- Properly place, display and price merchandise.
-- Answer phone on occasion, when appropriate.
Participate in Training
-- Participate in training when offered.
-- Attend store meetings, seminars and clinics when available.
-- Work to improve technical and product knowledge.
-- Acquire technical and product knowledge necessary to perform duties.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
