VF Services, Inc. seeks a Solution Architect for its two Greensboro, NC offices.
Duties: Serve on the technical team for major projects within Global Business Technology (GBT). Work on 2-3 projects concurrently, creating, reviewing and articulating solution architectures that meet functional and non-functional requirements, encompassing business, application, data and infrastructure elements. Retain a technical lead role for a project until it is implemented and successfully transitioned to Production. Serve as a senior resource within the company and be recognized as an ambassador for the organization. Demonstrate strong technical credibility as well as excellent communication skills.
20%: Identify systems and processes impacted by major change initiatives. Drive conversations with key stakeholders to determine requirements and desired project outcomes.
20%: Define and articulate complex solutions for large scale projects, including business, application, data and infrastructure impacts along with testing and implementation considerations.
20%: Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of application, data and infrastructure professionals to document and implement the solution, including those distributed across geographical boundaries.
10%: Troubleshoot complex and intermittent problems to tight timeframes while under pressure.
10%: Provide technical guidance and leadership to and, if necessary, challenging both a technical and non-technical audience whilst maintaining positive relationships.
5%: Communicate complex technical concepts and issues clearly and succinctly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from junior technical staff to senior management.
5%: Keep current with IT/functional trends and align with business strategies: research and evaluate new tools/software; stay current on evolving trends/best practices to aid in strategy and other future projects; work with business to understand their strategies/goals and define GBT strategies and projects to help get them there.
5%: Maintain regular stakeholder contact through face-to-face and written communication.
5%: Proactively identify and assist to develop additional Solution Architects throughout business and geographies served by GBT.
5%: Work on other projects as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, MBA and three years of experience as Solution Architect, Project Analyst, Project Manager or related position. Experience must include: three years of Computer Application/Architecture/Analysis experience; some experience working with Global Apparel / Footwear Supplier; strong Computer and Business Analysis and Computer/Software Design Skills; ability to effectively liaison with technical staff and clarify requirements to business team; as well will develop presentations and training on highly technical topics for nontechnical business and technical analysts; ability to work with business executives, technical professionals and external business partners (consultants); technical experience delivering solutions and troubleshooting complex problems with the following technologies: SAP AFS 4.6 or 6.5, Riversand MDM, Manhattan DOM, SOA, B2B, and Mainframe integration. Some travel (up to 30%) based on projects and priorities required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
