Our client, located in Elkhart, is looking for a Drafter, preferably with SolidWorks experience. In this position, the Drafter will provide drafting and programming support to manufacturing and administrative staff while promoting a positive, professional image to both our clients internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
Draft New Prints (verify prints, create CNC program if needed, update file)
Revise Prints (verify if on order, pull from shop, pull from engineering files, correct Visual information, reprint Work Orders, send approval print, change CNC programs)
Troubleshoot Problems (for: prints, FINN(CNC) programs, Laser programs, Engineering Masters, Work Orders)

Education and
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Operations:
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Experience drafting in Solid Works preferred.

Work Schedule/Hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 7:00 am - 4:00 or 6:00 - 2:30, Monday through Friday. (Hours may vary based on needs of production)


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
