Description
Offshore Permitting Support for company exploration and development. Successful candidate must be prepared to provide daily assistance to team lead, in addition to the Venture Support Integrator. Tasks of the position may include, but not be limited to:
Draft offshore permit and authorization applications
Track progress of preparation of permit/authorization, plans & supporting documents
Track & coordinate responses to agency Requests for Additional Information (RFAIs)
Prepare internal, weekly reporting of progress on all permit applications, regulatory owned plans in progress
Provide support to exploration & development plans, impact analyses, if requested
Assist with the development and tracking of permitting timelines
Assist with development of compliance training support documents
Provide permit compliance guidance via a Regulatory Affairs duty phone
Provide input on the value of stakeholder relationships and the impact to permitting activities in the Alaskan Arctic
Provide support in review of pending regulation changes, updates, external NEPA document reviews
Attend meetings with regulatory agencies
Occasional travel to Alaska North Slope communities in support of permitting
Interface with science and technical team members to gather project descriptions

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
5
years permitting experience, preferably includes offshore experience, Alaska OCS experience desired.
Science, engineering, land use or regulatory educational background preferred
Exhibit understanding of the regulatory regime of federal, state, and local governments, including specific experience with Northern Alaska communities
Capability to apply diversified knowledge of projects and permitting requirements
Proficiency in spreadsheet, electronic presentation, and flowchart development (examples: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently with limited direction
Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
Self starter

While performing duties of the job, employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
