Senior Compliance Attorney
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of legal support in the trade compliance area, including management of a team of import and export compliance professionals. Other responsibilities will include general legal support of the Ethics and Compliance Office, with a focus on compliance issues applicable to U.S. multinational public companies. Working under the supervision of the Law Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. Advising and counseling on the broad range of import and export compliance issues associated with a technology business that encompasses both hardware and software as well as global manufacturing and research and development. Developing strong, strategic relationships with clients, including the Operations function (Procurement/Logistics). Advising the various lines of business regarding potential trade compliance issues arising from proposed business models. Monitoring and communicating regulatory developments to relevant stakeholders in the Company. Assisting in the preparation and delivery of trade compliance training to clients. Driving continuous improvement in trade compliance policies and procedures. Managing a team of import and export trade compliance professionals, providing them with strategic direction and expert legal advice. Managing outside counsel, where such engagements are required. Performing other duties and responsibilities as directed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
