PRODUCTION MANAGER TACONIC, A global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts, tapes and laminates has an opportunity available for a Production Manager at our Corporate office in Petersburgh, NY.
Responsibilities will include directing and coordinating production activities within the Coating Department.
Keeps current with product knowledge, coating techniques and operating procedures.
Works with inventory control to schedule production activities as necessary.
Responsible for scrap reporting.
Implements and updates procedures for coating, formulation and inspection.
BS degree in technical field with 5-10 years of supervisory experience in a manufactur- ing environment.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on changing work conditions.
Must have the ability to work and manage multiple shifts as well as the ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.
