Analyze, design, program, test, train clients, and/or implement systems to fulfill business needs or problems, utilizing all phases of the system development life cycle
Maintain and support applications using one or more of the following: COBOL, CICS, JCL, Microsoft Access, SQL database, DB2, XML, DocuMaker, DAL scripting, and DocuMaker Studio
Thoroughly analyze client requirements, then define and prepare alternative solutions to business needs
Perform assigned project tasks in a highly interactive team environment while maintaining a productive and positive atmosphere
Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of project plans, precisely follow the project plans, and accurately assess and report the status of project tasks assigned to assist management, peers, and clients in monitoring and controlling the work
Familiarity with SQL; database structure, design, and access methods; and design tools
Experience with program writing and report creation
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to excel in a team environment
Excellent organization/prioritization skills
Strong oral and written-communication skills
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, yet maintain quality work
Working towards Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS
Experience in Mainframe programming including COBOL, CICS, SQL, and JCL
Basic knowledge of SQL Server, ACCESS, and DB2 databases
Experience with Web Services
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Environment
Student in their sophomore or junior year

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
