Job Description
As a Project Manager, the primary responsibility is to manage projects and provide supervision to the coordinators and engineers. This position will work cooperatively with members of the consulting and engineering teams as well as with the sales and operations departments. Candidate will also be involved in all phases of the project from obtaining requirements to roll out, while maintaining budget, communications, timeline, and objective of overall projects.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct site inspections as necessary to develop installation standards and specifications.
Provide pre-sale support to sales team in advance of a contract signature.
Assist sales and engineering resources in the creation of robust scope of work.
Review scope of work with customer to ensure project integrity and communicate customers' responsibilities to ensure they are an active participant as required to assure project success.
Establish and manage to specific project milestones.
Coordinate events and act as the central point of contact for internal and external resources including the customer while communicating project status and risk analysis to customers' and management regularly throughout the project.
Establish site documentation, progress status meetings, configuration plan, training and follow-up plan and test and acceptance plans.
Required Skills
:
Bachelor's Degree and 5
years of Project Management experience.
PMP or similar certification in project management is preferred.
Applicants must have some familiarity with Data Center Storage, Virtualization technologies, networking, data centers, unified communications, etc.
Must have the ability to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously.
Must have the ability to organize and maintain project portfolio.
Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills are required.
