Business Intelligence team at its Chandler, Arizona location. This role is responsible for the design, programming, and documentation of BI applications to solve business problems and improve decisions through the use of actionable information. A critical component is to create solution proposals including time lines and leads project design reviews for buy-in and approval. This position reports to the Corporate Director of Information Technology.

The Role's Critical Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and document Business Intelligence (BI) applications that solve business problems or improve decision effectiveness through the use of actionable information and data visualization.
Work with customers to analyze BI needs. Works on complex and high impact issues. Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis and suggests the best course of action.
Contribute to cross functional project teams that address customer BI needs. May develop and disseminate training in areas of focused responsibility to IT staff and customers.
Provide problem resolution of customer issues related to existing Rogers BI solutions. Manage requests via a service request system and utilizing voice of the customer (VOC) techniques

Qualifications to be Successful
Bachelor's degree.
5 or more years of applicable technical experience.
Proven track record of customer focus through training and experience.
In-depth process documentation and analytical skills.
MicroStategy Experience required
Previous experience negotiating with customers.
Demonstrated time management and effective multi-tasking skills.

Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing architectures

years experience developing in MicroStrategy with domain knowledge of the software
MicroStrategy software certification preferred
Design development experience with data discovery, dashboards, and mobile
Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze database SQL performance on SQL Server
Appreciation and knowledge of the aesthetics of data presentation (scorecards, dashboards, and other advanced analytics)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
