Salary Range: Starting salary for this position may be negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and funding.

Job Description:
Responsible for software management for various computing platforms, including servers and miscellaneous network devices.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or more than 4 years of experience. Position requires sitting for long periods of time using keyboard and reading data off of dual monitors, stooping and bending to pick up, carry and move computer equipment from one location to another; may be required to travel on/off campus by foot or own transportation.

Responsibilities:
May conduct research into technology problems and have direct interaction with technology vendors; may supervise other SSS IV or lower position and/or serve as team leader on projects; will provide advanced server support of server operating systems and hardware as well as server administration across multiple operating system platforms; install and manage network devices and network operating systems; perform capacity planning and resources management as well as system performance management; other duties as assigned.
