Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking an AH-64D Helicopter Mechanic I (Electrician) for a position at Ft. Campbell, KY on the RESET Team 13. Essential job duties include:
Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing aircraft systems and subsystems including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls
Perform AH64D maintenance tasks such as depopulating, cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and reassembly of aircraft components. Aircraft and power plant rigging. Drive train and fuel system inspections and repairs.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years working on the AH-64D
Able to inspect, diagnose, and repair AH-64D Apache Reset aircraft systems and subsystems. Including but not limited to power plant components, drivetrain, and fuel systems
Ability to repair and terminate electrical wiring
Ability to troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems including ECS, FMS, pitot static system, HADS systems, BUCs and MUCS, communications and fuel quantity indicating.
Understanding of maintenance in AH-64D engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls
Knowledge of ground handling the AH-64D
Provide details on where to find the maintenance tasks necessary to perform maintenance on the AH-64D
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 40 pounds to occasionally lift tools
Tools Required: Must have their own General Mechanic 150 piece tool box as part of personal supplies on day one of work that includes safety goggles
Four to five years of AH-64D scheduled and unscheduled phase maintenance and the ability to determine the level maintenance that will be required
Desired skills
A&P; License is a plus
Environmental Control Systems (Plus) Training or Certification is a plus
