Summary:
The role of this individual will be to work as part of a team which has responsibility for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a global IT Service Delivery and Monitoring environment utilizing a vast array of technologies. Responsibilities will span technologies including Enterprise Directory Services, Configuration Management, Operations Management and Monitoring, Application Virtualization, Antivirus, Certificate Lifecycle Management, etc

Responsibilities:
Working with teams to manage the day-to-day global environment.
Utilizing tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to distribute OS images, patches, and software updates effectively.
Utilizing tools such as Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to monitor a global environment to ensure service reliability .
Capable of managing different technologies within the global environment. (e.g. Active Directory, GPO, Terminal Services, etc.).
Involvement in other specific improvement projects including the design, justification, and implementation of new capabilities.
Ensuring that adequate processes exist to support ongoing changes and maintenance of the IT Infrastructure for service delivery and monitoring.
Use of analysis tools to understand and improve the performance of specific applications and functions.
Ensuring that adequate monitoring and alerting is deployed to detect anomalies and prevent service disruptions to the greatest degree possible.
Leading small teams and helping to properly set budgets and management expectations.
Working with vendors and service providers to manage the relationship, troubleshoot issues, ensure adequate support levels, and evaluate new offerings.

Minimum Required Education:
B.S. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field from accredited college or university
Experience Required:
3 years relevant IT experience preferred
Job Qualifications/Skills/Work
Experience:
This individual should be knowledgeable in Configuration Manager, Operations Management, and Antivirus concepts and implementations including overall architecture.
Experience with Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, and ForeFront is a plus.
Good communications skills are a must as this individual will be interacting very closely with persons supporting other areas of infrastructure and with consumers of network services.
