Position
Summary:
Maintain assigned production material inventories to meet manufacturing needs and continuously maintain required inventory turns or improve that requirement.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work with Corporate Purchasing group to maximize corporate contracts for plant cost savings. Investigate cost savings possibilities at local level; Process blanket or one-time purchase orders in accordance with QS-9000 requirements. Make sure that all production materials orders are sources only to approved vendors and that each parts meets customers specifications.
Provide clear paperwork flow between materials, accounting, and engineering departments.
Support Corporate policies and guidelines in Human Resources, EH & S, and Six Sigma as well as other company policies and guidelines.

Education and Experience
Associates degree, Trade or Tech. School in Business Management or Logistics
1-3 years of experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
