At Rockfish, our Junior Network Administrators act as a technical support resource, they work to prevent technical issues from occurring, respond to end user computer issues and perform day-to-day support duties.
Manage and document all aspects of the Rockfish network including site-to-site WAN, LAN and wireless networks in multiple offices, VPN and VOIP connectivity
Administration of Windows servers, Linux servers, server applications and HA VM infrastructure
Respond to customer support issues for applications, servers and devices
Acts as second level support to the Rockfish IT Helpdesk to assist with complex technical issues
Works with Rockfish IT Helpdesk to train new technologies and improve support to end users
Proactively identify and optimize network, server and application bottlenecks
Identify and respond to security risks and develop appropriate security procedures
Work as a team to prioritize and accomplish goals in a rapid pace work environment
1+ years relevant experience
Degree in relevant field or transferable experience
Knowledgeable in network design and deployment
Proficient in configuration of networking components including routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and VLANs
Knowledge of employing site-to-site data lines or MPLS to build out WAN for national and world-wide office expansion
Proficient in administration of Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Linux, Exchange 2010, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
