Support the procurement and logistics activities for corporate USAID global programs
Manage sourcing activities for a variety of commercial good and services
Locate and identify potential vendors and suppliers both domestically and internationally
Provide procurement assistance to corporate program staff and global field offices
Conduct competitive procurement actions including Request for Quotation generation, bid evaluation process and cost/price analysis
Generate solicitations and Master agreements for commercial goods and services
Effectively negotiate price, terms, and other areas delivery best value
Conduct market research, identify and recommend potential local suppliers
Assure compliance with FAR regulations and FHI 360 policies and procedures
Work with freight forwarders to coordinate the transport of goods to final destination
Process purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
Provide support to corporate initiatives in systems and process improvement, training, and policy formulation related to the overall procurement function
Education --------- Bachelor''s Degree or its International Equivalent - Business Administration or Related Field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or 2 years and a Master's degree
Strong knowledge of procurement methods and procedures
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in the procurement, contracts and/or grants management field, preferably with international donor funded projects, UN agencies, or NGO's on relevant programs
Federal purchasing experience, preferably in an international environment
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements
Experience with USAID procurement regulations and field procurement
Experience with logistics, freight forwarders and transport coordination desired
Must be eligible to work in the United States

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
