As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with Development, Product Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to introduce new styles, manufacturing processes and technologies into production. You will be responsible for attending design and proto review meetings for CCS styles. During these meetings, you will provide input that takes into consideration manufacturability, market requirements, cost, workflow, and product quality. As a leader in manufacturing, you will identify the challenges of each new style and determine what new technologies or expanded capabilities are required to successfully produce the style within the value streams. You will assist in developing initial standardized work and job instructions for all new operations and technologies. In this role, you will organize and assist manufacturing and R&D; in running factory trials necessary for the proper development and commercialization of new styles. You will act as the liaison between factory managers and the CCS development team; and you will communicate concerns, trial results and the action steps required to ensure the manufacturability of styles prior to production start up.
BS in Engineering with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven problem solving and project management skills.
Strong leadership skills required.
Computer skills a must.
Travel required.
