Web Developer Wanted
Paratransit, Inc. is seeking a full time Web Developer to assist in the creation and maintenance of our database driven web applications. experienced with LAMP, MS SQL, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Previous experience with C+
and object oriented programming is a plus as this position will maintain several legacy applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, development and implementation of new web applications Work with traditional software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents as required Perform debugging and testing. Define the integration between existing and proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware. Contribute to design and code reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field OR 3
years demonstrable development experience with PHP 4.0 or 5.0 and the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, etc.) Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, HTML and jQuery skills. Relational database and data security skills including creating, modifying, querying, and coding using SQL. Excellent object-oriented design & programming skills, including strong working knowledge and experience in using PHP. Good verbal and written communication skills. Applicati
