Summary: Primarily responsible to provide excellent support to the Production
supervisor
and excellent customer service to all associates and visitors. The Associate will be responsible to set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend materials, such as liquid or solid ingredients.

Responsibilities:
o Participate in daily 'stretch and flex' activities.
o Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment, including non-slip safety shoes.
o Follow the
job
Safety Analysis for the area, Lockout / Tagout, and the plant safety and quality programs.
o Rotate to other job tasks regularly as required by the Production Supervisor.
o Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
o Test Samples of materials or products to ensure compliance with specifications, using test equipment.
o Start machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times.
o Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials, such as spices, dough batter, or food products.
o Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
o Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
o Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained.
o Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
o Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices.
o Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards.
o Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
o Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
o Mark or tag identification on parts.
o Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
o Record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product production.
o All other duties as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
