ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a leading billion dollar company; they are seeking an Accounting Manager. The firm boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its' employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:
Review monthly and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of year-end audit and required collateral examinations.
Perform variance analysis and report findings to upper
management
.
Develop and prepare required weekly and monthly reporting to ensure compliance with provisions set forth in new credit agreement.
Review contracts for non-routine transactions to determine proper accounting treatment.
Analyze processes to identify/implement potential opportunities to strengthen internal controls and gain efficiencies.
Maintain knowledge on current and future accounting pronouncements.
Oversee a team of 5-7 direct reports and a clerical team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:
The ideal candidate is an active CPA, has 10 or more years of total work experience with a mix of public (Big 4 or larger regional) and industry with several years of managerial experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
