SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the grounds around the building and repairing the physical structures of buildings and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs and vacuums warehouse, hallways, stairs and office space.
Cleans shipping area and racks.
Empties trash and garbage containers.
Assists in maintaining building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
Responsible for mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds and raking and disposing of leaves and refuses.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
Needs to report all pertinent information when completing work orders.
Required
Experience:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Needs to have excellent, mechanical and communication skills.
