We are seeking an experienced Mold Repairman/Machinist to join our team at our Streator, IL plant.
Responsibilities:
Performs highly skilled bench operations such as making masters, changing contours, changing sizes, welding.
Rebores cavities for capacity.
Makes specification changes involving forming of heads, shoulder contours, bands, etc.
Makes masters for duplicators.
Mills welds.
Makes changes in design or capacity.
Repairs jigs and fixtures.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Must possess a Journeyman's card and/ or five years work experience in a related industry.
Prefer a minimum of five years work experience in a related industry.
Must be highly skilled in bench
repair
and Fuse, Arc and Tig welding.
CNC Mill & Lathe experience, Vertical Mill and Engine Lathe experience required.
Experience with reading blueprints and drawings.
Ability to use all precision measuring devices.
Must be proficient in shop math.
Must know how to use shop inspection tools and perform first article inspection.
Must have a good working knowledge of machine zero, offsets, tools and fixtures.
Injection mold or die experience a plus.
Able to work well with others and from verbal instructions under minimal supervision.
Must have the flexibility to work any shift, rotating shifts and/or weekends and holidays.
High School Graduate or GED

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
