Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and deploying integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprises
Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, Web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements
Develops methods to efficiently reuse existing components
Works with users to gather business requirements, performs database analysis, codes and tests middleware routines to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems and applications components
Participates in component and data architecture design, software product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations
Possesses skills and knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming, distributed, cross-platform program communication using message brokers with Common Object Request
broker
Architecture, enterprisewide content and data distribution using common databases and data standards implemented with the Extensible Markup Language (XML), middleware applications and message queuing approaches
Provide level 3 support for all functions with primary focus on SOA, ETL of Middleware applications and architecture
Assist application owners as a SME for application integration:
Oracle fusion Middleware including, B2B, ODI and SOA suite
Oracle Application Server/IAS
WebMethods Integration Server, Broker Server and Trading Networks
Other ETL technologies such as Informatica as required to support all application architecture
Support of all Java based application especially integration related
WebLogic application Servers, Administration and support
WebSphere application Servers Administration and support
Support Linux platform and Oracle Database development
Execute Discovery activities to fully identify and document the existing Middleware Environment
Work with the Datacenter Server Tower to develop and implement the appropriate solution for successful transformation
Consult on complex business issues and design considerations
Responsible for the identification and documentation of system requirements to enable the Technical Team to deliver the appropriate solution for successful transformation
Participate in the development and execution of the user acceptance test plans, as well as schedule testing
Create new documentation and processes as needed to help refine, optimize, and/or to establish network functions and processes

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology Discipline
6 or more years of professional experience
Typically has 7 to 10 years of programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database and middleware technologies
2-5 years experience working on one or more SOA systems and architecture including but not limited to WebMethods, Oracle Fusion Middleware, IBM WebSphere, building custom Java libraries for use in Middleware technologies
Extensive Experience with older operating systems including Tru64
Proven Experience migrating legacy Linux servers to modern virtual environments using products like VMconverter or PlateSpin
In depth understanding of distributed networks
Significant experience in the administration of SSL certs,
Expert level knowledge of various integration patterns and methods
Significant experience with Apex Application Suite
Previous hands on experience with OBIEE/Siebel
Practical experience with WebSphere MQ
Expert level knowledge of various enterprise service bus implementations
Strong knowledge of integrating applications with applications such as Oracle e-Business
Experience supporting the above applications in various technology stacks, especially Linux, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS, Apache, etc.)
Extensive previous Java development experience
Must have current and significant hands on experience with Middleware integration
Must have proven experience with deep technical aspects of enterprise consolidation/ integration projects
Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal
Experience interviewing end users to gather requirements
Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external interactions
Ability to analyze situations and challenges in a systematic, logical approach
Ability to analyze data points extracted by automated and manual discovery processes
Experience with Sendmail, Apache, Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat
OpNet Knowledge is a Plus
