We currently have a full time need for a System/Software Engineer with experience in C/C+
and development of system specifications, designs, integration and testing at Fort Hood in Augusta, GA. The Systems Engineer develops software solutions for integrating emerging technologies into a military tactical network environment. Participates in architectural software design decisions and assists in the development of requirements related documentation. Provides support for military exercises and experiments.
Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this
position
:
5 years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a military tactical environment
Proficiency with
computer
programming with direct experience with C+
and Python
Experience conducting technology assessments and evaluations of emerging commercial and military information technologies
Advanced understanding of Windows and Linux, enterprise networks, and network protocols
Strong information security and software integration skills
Must currently hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance, and a valid's driver license
Required Certifications/Degree
BS in Computer Science or related disciplineEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
