Overview
Provides oversight with regard to internal and external suppliers and production to ensure top quality deliverables to our clients in the public and private sector

Responsibilities
Maintains quality objectives through implementation of existing company policies.
Interprets quality philosophy to key personnel within company.
Provides oversight with regard to analysis, inspection, test, and/or integration to assure the highest quality of assigned products and components.
Performs quality-engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance, including vendor quality manuals and internal quality records.
Applies statistical process control methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
Executes first article inspection process and assists in vendor selection
Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
Supervises quality technicians, inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Implements quality training programs.
Initiate supplier corrective actions as needed.
Require and review supplier inspection reports for parts with open corrective actions.
Verify supplier corrective action effectiveness thru receiving inspection part sampling.
Work with suppliers to implement sampling plans, establish process controls, and determine process capabilities for critical to quality parameters.
Monitor supplier quality performance by calculating lot acceptance rate.
Contribute as a team member to the Continuous Improvement Team utilizing structured problem solving skills to find root cause and implement corrective actions with regard to internal manufacturing.
Manage inspection tool calibration program.
Develop and maintain final inspection checklists.
Participate in Material Review Board meetings to determine disposition of nonconforming material.

Requirements
BS in related engineering field
3 to 5 years of Quality experience
Ability to read drawings / GD&T
computer
literacy with Microsoft Office products and experience in using databases is a must.
ASQ Quality Engineer (CQE) Certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
