Minimum Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a focus of engineering, business, or healthcare administration. Project
management
and/or process improvement experience and 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in clinic or ambulatory site, preferred.
Primary Job Functions
- Assist with development of procedures, and standardization of referral/authorization process, etc.
- Assist Senior Operations Director with operational and standardization efforts as needed.
- Serve as liaison between site staff and PMG administrative departments and physicians and clinic staff as relates to clinics operations.
- Maintain a general knowledge of PMG operations and specific functions related to process improvement efforts.
- Responsible for managing the primary care and outpatient clinics relative to the role being covered at the clinic when assigned.
- Responsible for communicating with PMG supervisors and staff as well as PMG Administration on all assignments related to operations including temporary assignments to a site as back-up, improvements and standardization efforts.
- Conduct site visits to confirm processes are in place and followed consistently based on established procedures.
- Works with the Human Resources department in managing personnel issues for clinic employees, with respect to hiring, orienting, staffing, monitoring and making any recommendations for any disciplinary actions during temporary assignments to a PMG facility.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with providers and site staff
- Facilitates Referral Team meetings and communicates all policies and procedures related to referrals and pa's to PMG providers, practice administrators
- Analyzes Emergency
services
Operational data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement and develops strategies for improvement/optimization based on data analysis.
- Develops, directs, publishes, and presents quality data needed for Provider operational
practices
/processes.
- Performs ongoing quality and productivity monitoring of staff and provides routine feedback to all staff.
- Collaborates with Emergency Department Managers to ensure the provision of quality, efficient care is continued in the CDS Emergency Departments.
- Assists Director of Practice Operations in other organizational initiatives and/or in work related to the Regional Delivery System.
- Performs other functions as required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
