Leddy Group is seeking a Bookkeeper / Office
manager
for a client company in the Hanover area. Position will assist with bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivables, maintaining financial records and preparing monthly reports, setting up clients in the system, and creating and sending invoices to customers. Position will also involve setting up meetings, ordering supplies, filing, and booking travel arrangements.
Candidates should have at least two years of prior experience, with a degree in
accounting
preferred. Candidates should have strong
computer
skills, including MS Office and quickbooks experience. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work as a team player, and ability to work independently. Position works 20-30 hours weekly with room for growth to full time. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
