nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Sr. Cognos Analyst to fulfill an immediate vacancy.
This individual will be responsible for: verifying that all business requirements are properly documented and all solutions designs meet users and company requirements. This person will be the technical resource for any questions on COGNOS and will be required to perform applications upgrades as needed. o Manage and administer the COGNOS applications o Create and manage the companies reporting model o Create and develop complex reports o Train users on COGNOS applications such as Report Studio and Query Studio o Assist in necessary investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine project scope and resource requirements o Help in developing project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or equipment installations o Develop and support new or existing applications and evaluate previously developed programs and suggest alternatives o Help the Project
manager
estimate resource needs for projects o Develop or assist in the development of work plans and task sequencing o Recommend plans for user and resource management approvals o Develop and documents complete descriptions of all business requirements o Plan and document the full range of actions needed to achieve result under the direction of the Project Manager
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of: o 1-4 years of related applications experience preferred o COGNOS Report Studio Authoring Training
classes
o COGNOS Model Building Training o COGNOS Metadata Modeling Training o High school diploma required. BS or BA preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
