This unique role gives you the chance to expand on your technical and analytical skills, while also developing strong communication skills as you work across a multitude of IT projects and initiatives. Ideal candidates will have the ability to come into a project that has already begun, where decisions have been made, and have the ability to quickly understand and define additional requirements that must be addressed for project completion.
Minimum of 8 years of requirements elicitation/gathering experience is required.
Excellent PC skills with a strong working knowledge of associated applications, and the ability to learn new applications quickly.
Strong infrastructure and App/Dev technology aptitude and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with peers, business partners, customers, project managers, testing team, and management
Strong organization skills with the ability to work on and lead multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously
The ability to support department goals that align with current and future Company objectives and initiatives
Strong facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to find successful resolutions/requirements for moderate to complex projects/issues, escalating those that require management involvement, when necessary
Ability to ask the right questions and find gaps when coming into the middle of a project where decisions have already been made.
Strong requirement management and documentation skills
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment where change is required and addressed at various levels of projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
Strong understanding of JAD sessions, the SDLC process, peer reviews, and stage-gate review processes.
Ability to provide design input to ensure requirements are being met and unrelated technical scope is not added
Experience with requirement management tools and traceability is required. Preferred tool is Quality Center, though this is not a requirement; it would be advantageous to have some Quality Center experience. Proven ability to confirm testing objectives, verify requirements are testable, and trace testability back to requirements.
Prior technical experience in Infrastructure (Network, Compute, or Telecommunications), Service Management, and/or Client technologies is preferred.
