Kalles Group is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join one of our clients on a consulting to hire basis. This role will work across the IT and newly created BI organization driving a variety of projects through to completion. The Business Intelligence (BI) and IT team need to source new data into the newly created Data Warehouse as well as maintain all existing ETL
jobs
that may need to be revised or extended based on changes in existing source systems that support the reporting and analytical needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Work in partnership with project teams to understand the business, functional and technical requirements for the BI solution
Work with the BI and IT team to ensure the data warehouse contains the data needed to deliver exceptional BI to the end user and to ensure that it performs as efficiently as possible
Create and maintain ETL specifications (e.g. source-to-target maps) for the bidirectional movement of data between source system and the warehouse to support the reporting solution (if appropriate)
Design and support the ETL data validation process
Work with appropriate customers to create and manage project schedules for reporting and ETL solutions
Design and develop stored procedures and views necessary to support the solution
Monitor production loads and conduct root cause analysis for all load failures
Works with database administrators in migrating applications into development, test and production environments
Performs Data warehouse capacity planning, and ensures data quality and data governance

Skills:

Large-scale data manipulation and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) using SQL Server Integration
services
, Transact-SQL code and other techniques. Create Packages, Control Flow Tasks, Data Flow Tasks, ETL Process
Data querying and display using Reporting Services (SSRS)
Strong cross group collaboration skills and ability to build credible relationships across multiple internal customer groups.
Highly developed analytical skills and critical thinking skills. Ability to solve highly unstructured business problems.
Ability to evangelize to and educate senior executives (technical staff and non-technical staff).
Experience communicating with
executive
management during project charter development, priority setting, status and budget reporting at the Director, VP, and Executive level.

Qualifications:

Four-year college degree is preferred, preferably in business,
computer
science, MIS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8-10 years strong BI background as either a developer, architect or data modeler with the most recent 2
years? experience as a ETL developer
A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational table structures, and OLAP data structure
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL 2008/12
Proven ability to effectively interface with business users and define requirements
Experience modeling and querying complex hierarchies is preferred
Proven ability to manage concurrent and complex tasks on a regular basis
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
Excellent written and oral communication skills, follow-through and attention to detail
Experience delivering solutions with iterative SDLC concepts and practices (e.g., Agile)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
